Four Poems on Love

1. Angels do not die,
neither do devils
for they were once lovers.
You who rejected me became the angel,
and I who rejected myself became the devil.

2. Glad be he who has not loved
for his heart has not been ransomed
and his nights have not been burdened
with the uncertainties of day.

3. Envy he who has loved,
even if once
For he has blissfully tasted heaven,
even if once.

4. It is good you have said no,
now i die only once,
for if you had said yes,
each parting would have been death a thousand times.
