  1. Hi!
So I just skimmed through your website, and while I didn’t go through each article in detail, I liked whatever I read so far!
As to the layout, I’d like to make a couple of suggestions. First, perhaps the front page could be made more compact, as in instead of having the entire articles, you could have a paragraph or so of each, thus inviting readers to go onto those that interest them and hence, even comment/discuss about them on their respective pages, without making the front page cluttered. Ditto for the archive section. I doubt you need entire articles all over the website. Just synopsis and/or the first few lines are enough to catch anyone’s attention and thus direct him to said article’s page! Otherwise, I quite like the clean, neat feel of it that doesn’t distract from the main emphasis of the website, the articles themselves! 🙂

  2. Hey,
thanks for going through the website and for pointing out issues with the layout. Unfortunately, the theme itself does not allow for most of the changes that you have suggested and none of us are web designers so, even if we wanted to change some aspects of the layout, we can’t. If there is any way you can help in this, it would be great. 🙂

  3. Hmmm, you have a wordpress account, right? Well, for my blog, I clicked the “Front page displays your latest posts” setting under the Reading Settings Tab. Then, for each post that I make, I chose how many lines I want to show on the front page, while writing the post itself, and then insert the “more” tag and then continue writing my post. This way all the part before the “more” tag is displayed on the front page along with a link to “read more” which redirects you to the actual post or in your case, the article. Maybe the picture will make it clearer.

    Hope it helps! 🙂

  4. Wow!! It looks so much nicer now! I think you can still make it shorter. The first one (Kahaani review) is perfect. Maybe you can try the same length for the others too?! But, it definitely looks much much more appealing now! Must say, that was quite fast! 🙂

      1. haha, good luck with that, the net can be a total bitch sometimes!
Oh, and by the way, did you put up the site for some project or just acting on a whim or something? Cause it took me a while to figure out that its not run by a group of people…or is it?

  5. The best ideas usually stem from boredom, I’ve noticed…happens all the time with me!! But its a nice idea, the only challenge now would be maintaining it and you know, not getting bored with it! 😛

  6. Hi! Just a suggestion. Instead of displaying the entire post, how about showing a few paragraphs, and then directing the viewers to the actual blogpost instelf?? That way, people can read more work from the writer, not just the article you’ve provided. If not that, atleast at the end of it, provide a link to the original blog’s address? 🙂

    1. Hey, thanks a lot for your suggestion. 🙂 We’ll put in a link to the original blogpost wherever possible. However, all of our posts are sent in via email, so we just assume that the writer has sent in something that he/she wants published in its entirety. However, as and when we find out that the piece has already been posted once, we’ll provide the link.
